Smart Codes
Shared redemption codes for teams and classes, backed by a credit pool with limits and expiry
Smart Codes let an organization admin create a single redemption code backed by a shared credit budget, hand it to a whole team or class, and have each person's redemption draw from the same pool until it runs out.
How it works
You create one code and configure how it behaves:
- Total budget. The size of the shared credit pool the code draws from
- Credits per person. How many credits each redemption grants
- Redemption limit. Whether each person can redeem once or repeatedly
- Expiry date. An optional cutoff after which the code stops working
Everyone you give the code to redeems against the same pool. Once the budget is exhausted, further redemptions stop.
Managing a code
A live budget meter shows how much of the pool is left and how many people have redeemed. You can pause, resume, top up, or adjust a code at any time.
When to use it
Smart Codes are ideal for:
- Teams that need to distribute credits to members without managing individual accounts
- Classes and workshops where an instructor wants every student to start with the same credit allowance
- Events where you hand out a single code and cap the total spend with the budget
Smart Codes sit alongside the existing single-use code batches, so you can pick whichever fits the situation.
