Getting Started

Linking the Kolbo bot to your account takes one email and one 6-digit code. Total time: about thirty seconds.

Step 1 — Open the bot

Pick the messenger you already use:

Or scan the QR codes from the Kolbo Bot landing page.

Step 2 — Say hi

Send hi (or any message). The bot will greet you and ask for the email address on your Kolbo.AI account.

Step 3 — Send your email

Reply with the email you use to sign in to kolbo.ai. If you don't have a Kolbo account yet, the bot will create one for you automatically on the free plan and grant 100 free credits to start.

Step 4 — Enter the 6-digit code

Kolbo will send a one-time verification code to that email. Reply to the bot with the code. Once accepted, your Kolbo account is now linked to this WhatsApp / Telegram identity.

The code expires after a few minutes and allows up to 3 attempts. If it expires, just send your email again to request a new one.

Step 5 — Start creating

You're in. Send any of the following to try it out:

a lone samurai meditating in an empty dojo, god rays through shoji screens — creates an image
Reply to that image with now animate it — turns it into a short video
upbeat 80s synthwave, instrumental, 120 BPM — generates music
read this aloud: "Welcome to Kolbo" — converts text to speech
what's the weather in Tel Aviv? — chats with web search
Send a voice note instead of typing — Kolbo transcribes it and acts on what you said

Intent is auto-detected, so you don't need slash commands. See the Commands reference if you want to force a specific action.

You can link the same Kolbo account to both WhatsApp and Telegram — just repeat the flow on the second platform with the same email. Both links share one credit balance and one generation history.

Privacy

The bot never sees your Kolbo password. Linking uses a one-time code sent to your verified email.
Your messages are processed by Kolbo's backend to run the requested generation. Kolbo does not forward your content to the messaging platform beyond what's required to send the reply.
