Storyboard & Grid Presets

Generate organized image grids, numbered storyboards, and character sheets in a single generation

Create organized image grids, numbered storyboards, and professional character sheets with presets in Text to Image and Image Editing. Plus, split any image into a custom grid directly in Canvas with the Universal Split Grid.

Overview

Grid and storyboard presets generate organized, presentation-ready layouts in one step, instead of arranging multiple separate generations by hand in an external tool. Character sheets keep a subject consistent across every pose and view automatically.

Grid Presets

Standard grid layouts produce multiple variations in one organized image:

  • 2x2 Grid - Four variations
  • 3x3 Grid - Nine versions
  • 4x4 Grid - Sixteen variations
  • Custom grids - Up to 10x10 for maximum exploration

Great for product showcases, design variations and A/B testing, color palette explorations, and scene variations.

Storyboards

Generate numbered storyboard panels that lay out a sequence in reading order, with optional captions describing each beat. This turns a single prompt into a clean, multi-panel narrative you can review or share, and storyboards can be opened in the AI Board for further work.

Character Sheets

Professional character design layouts in a single generation:

  • Multiple poses of the same character
  • Expression variations (happy, sad, angry, neutral)
  • Turnaround views (front, side, back)
  • Consistent character across all views

Great for animation and game character development, comic and illustration references, visual development, and brand mascot creation.

Universal Split Grid

The Universal Split Grid lives in the Canvas tool and splits any image into an organized grid:

  • Split into custom grids - 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, or a custom layout
  • Works on any image - AI-generated, uploaded, or already on the canvas
  • Precise control - Adjust spacing, alignment, and grid positioning
  • Export individual panels - Save each cell separately or keep them unified
  • Non-destructive - Preview before applying, undo anytime
